New Executive Director of the FPSA!

The Federal Protective Service Association (FPSA) proudly announces the appointment of Gabe Russell as its new Executive Director. With an impressive career spanning over 25 years with the Federal Protective Service (FPS) and a total of 33 years in public service, including significant service in the U.S. Army, Gabe Russell's journey is a testament to dedication and professionalism.

Gabe's career began in the early days of the FPS when he joined as a GS-7 during the General Services Administration (GSA) era. He quickly established himself as a dedicated team member and a rising star within the agency. Throughout his extensive tenure, Gabe has held numerous positions, gaining invaluable experience that has prepared him for this leadership role.

In his new capacity, Gabe Russell aims to strengthen the FPSA's mission by fostering collaboration amongst the FPS Family and advocating for the needs of the FPS family. His deep understanding of the agency's challenges and opportunities positions him uniquely to lead the FPSA into a new era of efficiency and effectiveness. As an Assistant Director, he has contributed significantly to pivotal initiatives that shaped the agency's operational framework, and now, as Executive Director of the FPSA, he plans to build on that foundation.

The FPSA looks forward to supporting Gabe as he embarks on this new chapter. His leadership will not only help us to support the nearly 20,000 people in the FPS family, but also bridge gaps with future generations within the FPS community.
