Honoring a Dedicated Veteran & Family Man

Former Area Commander William Krejci was a man whose life exemplified service to his country and community. As a proud U.S. Army veteran, he served as an infantryman from October 2002 through July 2010, dedicating nearly a decade of his life to protecting his fellow citizens. His commitment to duty did not end with his military service; William transitioned to a career as a federal law enforcement officer in 2019, applying his skills and experiences to ensure safety and justice in the community until his untimely passing on February 22, 2026.

Beyond his remarkable military and law enforcement careers, William Krejci was deeply involved in his local community in Keasbey, New Jersey. His dedication to public service extended to volunteering as a firefighter, where he committed countless hours to helping others in their times of need. As an elected official on the Keasbey Board of Fire Commissioners, he played a critical role in shaping local fire safety policies and advocating for the welfare of his community, embodying the spirit of public service at every level.

William Krejci's legacy is not solely defined by his professional endeavors and community service. He was a devoted family man, who cherished his wife, Maria, and their five children. His family was at the center of his world, and he often spoke of the joy they brought to his life. William's love for his family was evident in every action—be it coaching his children's sports teams, supporting academic pursuits, or simply spending quality time together. His passing is felt profoundly by those who knew and loved him, and he will be remembered as a passionate professional, a loyal friend, a loving husband, and an exceptional father.

In honoring William Krejci’s memory, we celebrate not only his contributions to his country and community but also the values he instilled in his family and friends. Service, commitment, and love were the cornerstones of his life, and they continue to inspire those he left behind. As we pay tribute to his remarkable journey, let us strive to uphold the legacy of service he so passionately embodied.
